home: toolbox

I don't recall how I ended up looking at vintage lipstick caddies on etsy.  Not sure about you, but the idea of little lipstick caddies seems incredibly quaint to me - but maybe that's because I own no more than zero lipsticks.  Notwithstanding this, I was drawn to their typically ornate design and potential for organizing all manner of things.  I'm using one to hold my daily makeup tools - powder/blush brushes, eyeliner, and lipliner (which is generally used for a good coloring-in if I am dressing like a boy that day or am feeling like a scrub).

    I have never seen lipstick caddies before! They are very pretty-- I'd love one on my vanity to hold brushes and makeup too.

    i always spot those when I'm antique shopping and think they are so cute but have yet to pick one up. I love that you put your brushes in them instead of lipstick!
