Plain cardigan + fancy fabric = big win. I'm in the middle of finishing off a cardigan inspired by the above. Don't touch that dial. Until then, I'm off for a long weekend of street-market shopping and stroopwaffel eating. Besos!
I have a love hate relationship with cardigans. I got two for my birthday as I live in them, but when I saw the birthday party pics, the cardi did look mightily underdressed for such a swanky restaurant and note to self was to invest in some evening wraps. But are they too maiden aunt? What do you do to be warm but glamorous?
I feel you on the evening-wear warmth problem. For me, cardigans are generally for day, and if I'm dressing up for an evening out, I just tend to wear long-sleeved plain tops with a fancy skirt/layered jewelry. I'm all ears for more glam and unique suggestions, though!
I really like the second one. It is a really nice and yet pretty simple idea. Will definitely give it a try, now just need to find a perfect fabric print ;)
hey, so easy and cool idea! thanks for sharing, I was thinking about doing sth similar a cardigan, but now I guess I will kick the previous idea and go with the panels:) greets!
